Board of Directors
- The Board of Directors is responsible for t he governance of the Centre, with the CEO in charge for the proper organization of its activities, finances and day-to-day management of the Centre’s affairs. The Board of Directors establish the strategy and scientific guidance for research and design of high-quality courses. Meetings are usually facilitated through new ICT (video calls/conferencing, cloud computing), bridging the physical distance of its members.
Christian Zeininger, Founder/CEO
The Founder of the Centre looks back at 35 years of professional experience in senior and executive positions in Europe and Africa (Finance, Development Cooperation, and Higher Education) and holds an Economics MSc (Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, 1986-1991) and MPhil in Education and ICT (University of Cape Town, 2009-2011). The position of Counselor of the Austrian Embassy and Head of Austrian Development Cooperation in Mozambique (1998-2004) provided an opportunity to gain good knowledge and fair understanding of developmental issues and challenges, whereas the duties as Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Management and Information Technology and Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University of Mozambique (2006-2009) were helpful to gain insights of young people passing through higher education, and challenges for education and training in general. All together forms the academic and professional circle culminating in the foundation of con.moz.
